Bennington Lake and Trails

If you have not already headed out to Bennington Lake and the area's recreational trails you are definitely missing out!

There are more than 20 miles of recreational trails running through this area..Trail surfaces vary from pavement and gravel to dirt and grass, meandering through grasslands and wooded areas.  There are 3 major loop trails that interconnect with spur trails.  Trails are open to walkers, runners, bicyclists, rollerbladers, horseback riders, cross-country skiers and nature observers.

Begin at the Mill Creek Trail Office where you can pick up a pamphlet/map of all trail routes and their distances.  The maps also indicate trail conditions such as paved, grass, dirt and their general difficultly and slope.

One of my favorites is Whitetail trail approximately 5 miles moderately difficult with gentle to steep slope (gravel, dirt and grass)
