Spring Competition 2007

Hey Everyone!! The 2007 competitive season is here and its definately got alot going for me and the fitness figure team.

Workouts have jumped up a notch with more cardio, plyometrics, fitness drills and heavier weight training...........Whew!!.......gotta love the burn!!

My first competition event is the 2nd Annual Tanji Johnson Figure and Fitness Show March 31st in Vancouver WA. For tickets contact www.ticketswest.com . This is sure to be a first class event put on by one of the best IFBB Prosi n the Competitive Fitness World.

Speaking of Tanji Johnson, I just returned from spending time with her in Spokane WA for her Superfitness Seminar sponsored in part by Gaspari Nutrition. I am always in awe with her positive, upbeat and motivational personality. I head off to Vancouver BC in February for Fit Camp training and qualification for the Ocean Bloom FAME West Event slotted for April 14th. This will be my first World Natural Sport Organization competition. I must say I am so excited yet nervous with my venture. I look forward to another high energy, motivational & informative day with canadian competitors Nancy Lockington www.nancylockington.com and Ocean Bloom www.oceanbloom.com .

May and June will be spent training for the Women's Tri Fitness World Challenge events at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas NV and USA Figure Nationals also in Las Vegas 2 weeks later!! You can check out the WTF ticket and event information at www.womentrifitness.com.

Hey Everyone!!! Just returned last week from the Vancouver Natural USA BB, Figure and Fitness Championships where I placed 2nd in the women's open figure ht 5'5 and under. WHEW!!! It was tough competition with the other athletes, sure were some great physiques on stage that day. As always meet some fun girls and networked with a few connections for coaching oportunities. It's always enjoyable to be in the presence of fit competitive athletes.

So I am prepping this week for the FAME West event in Vancouver BC on Sat April 14th. This is my first WNSO event and I find myself feeling both nervous due to the "unknown" and energized with anticipation of performing once again a routine. Practice, practice practice this week. The workouts are over on Tues for prep and the focus maintains on diet and routine.
